Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre to Hold Auditions for Christmas Play

Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre is excited to begin preparations for its annual Christmas play. WOBT will present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., and directed by Joey Fine. The production will open December 6 and will run Thursdays through Sundays December 6-9 and 13-16, 2018.

Auditions will be held September 9-11 at Seasons Church in Prattville. The audition schedule will be as follows:

  • Sunday, September 9, 6-9:00 p.m. auditions for primary children/teen roles, ages 7-17
  • Monday, September 10, 6-8:00 p.m. auditions for secondary children/teen roles, ages 5-15
  • Tuesday, September 11, 6-8:00 p.m. auditions for adult roles
  • Call backs, if needed, will be held on Thursday, September 13

In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant, is faced with casting the Herdman kids, probably the most inventively awful kids in history! You won’t believe the mayhem—and the fun—when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!
