MILITARY RECOGNITION BANNER PROGRAM

The City of Prattville is excited to sponsor the Military Recognition Banner Program that honors hometown heroes who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Prattville residents may participate by nominating a Veteran for the banner program.
During Memorial Day and Veterans Day, the banners will be displayed throughout Historic Downtown, along East Main Street and Memorial Drive.
Rules:
- The honoree must be a Prattville resident or the immediate family member of a Prattville resident.
- There is a limit of one banner per service person.
- Banner submission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, due to the limit of banner poles.
- Location placement and scheduling of installation/removal of military banners are at the City's discretion.
- Any nominee that did not receive a banner will be added to a waitlist.
- Gold Star Banner Requirements: The city uses the Goldstar Registry for the administration and coordination of goldstar banners. Please contact them directly and complete the registration process to participate.
