ROBERT STRICHIK

Councilor President Pro-Tempore | District 6

Robert E. Strichik was elected to the Prattville City Council in 2016. He and his wife, Tracye, a current member of the Autauga County BOE, grew up in Prattville.  They have three children, Katye, Madison, and Will, who all are graduates of Prattville High School (PHS).  After graduating from PHS, he attended Troy University and Faulkner University, where he played baseball and majored in Communications. He is employed with the Kyser Corporation.

Robert and his family are members of Prattville First United Methodist Church.  He has served as a board member of the Autauga County Family Support Center and as the EMCEE for Autauga County Distinguished Young Women.  He has volunteered his time to the youth of our community by coaching several sports programs with the city and YMCA.  During Friday night lights, his voice will boom over Stanley Jensen Stadium as the official voice of the Prattville High School (PHS) athletics.  For 35 years, he has dedicated his time as the PA announcer and commentator for PHS football, baseball, and basketball.

During his tenure on the Council, he has chaired the Parks and Recreation Committee and Fire Committee. He has also served as a member of the following committees; Police, IT, Street, and Finance Committees and currently serving as the President Pro Tempore of the City Council for 2022-2025.
