HOLIDAY SANITATION SCHEDULE
During the holidays, routes will be collected the next business day after a major holiday. If a major holiday falls on a Saturday, the Sanitation Division will observe it on the preceding Friday. If the major holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday. Routes not collected due to holidays will be picked up the next business day along with the routes for that day.

- Monday, January 1 – New Year’s Day (Collections will be delayed by one day)
- Monday, January 15 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Collections will be on Tuesday, January 16)
- Monday, May 27 – Memorial Day (Collections will be on Tuesday, May 28)
- Wednesday, June 19 – Juneteenth (TBD)
- Thursday, July 4 – Independence Day (Collections will be on Friday, July 5)
- Monday, September 2 – Labor Day (Collections will be on Tuesday, September 3)
- Monday, Nov. 11 – Veterans Day (Collections will be on Tuesday, November 12)
- Thursday, November 28 – Thanksgiving (Thursday routes will be collected Friday)
- Day after Thanksgiving Garbage Drop-off:
You can drop off extra household garbage at the following locations on Friday, November 29th from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

- Recycle Center
- Upper Kingston

2024:
