CARDBOARD BOAT RACE
Want to get a good laugh? Come watch this great family event. It’s full of entertainment in the least! The building of the boats begins at approximately 10:30am, (immediately following the parade).
The teams will be creating their competition boats out of cardboard, 2 pool noodles and 2 standard size rolls of duct tape, while onlookers cheer them on. Show off your creative ideas.
Trophies will be awarded for the following:
- Titanic (most dramatic sink)
- Most Creative
- Best Design and more

Rules:
Open to all ages
Two people required on boat during race
Items approved to use:
cardboard
2 pool noodles
2 standard size rolls of duct tape
No surfboard type boats, you must start the race by sitting in or on top of your boat. You may use ping pong paddles as oars. Pre-cut boats are allowed, but must not be assembled in any way before the buzzer sounds to begin.
Class Fees:
Per Boat in Advance = $5.00
Day of Race per boat = $8.00
