POOL & SPLASH PAD

The City of Prattville has made the difficult decision to close the municipal pool for the 2026 season, following a formal structural assessment conducted by a licensed professional engineer.

Season: May 1st - September 30th
Admission: Free
Closes due to inclement weather
Required: Swimwear and swim diapers
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Swim Lessons
June - July
The Prattville Parks and Recreation will not provide swim lessons for the 2026 season. If you are interested in swim lessons, please visit the YMCA to view class information.
Senior Water Aerobics
June - August
The Prattville Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Prattville YMCA to continue water aerobics during the 2026 Summer season. The classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:55 a.m. (June-August) at Don Smith YMCA branch. This will be only for Prattville Residents. Spots are limited so sign up today.
Prattville Swim Team
May - July
Partnering with the YMCA to offer a competitive Swim Team that competes statewide. Registration opens on April 15th at the Don Smith YMCA branch.
