OPERATIONAL LICENSE

BOATER SAFETY COURSE AND OPERATOR LICENSE

 

The Prattville Parks and Recreation offers a Boaters Safety and Operators License course instructed by Trooper Marshall Westbrook of the Alabama Marine Patrol Division.  The course includes the following topics: Knowing Your Boat, Before Going Out on a Boat, Boat Operation and Safety, The Legal Requirements of Boating,” Boating Emergencies and What to Do,” and Water Sports with a Boat.” You will test at the end of the day and once you have passed you will receive a certificate in the mail. Then you may go to the license department and have the endorsement added to your driver's license. Call the Parks and Recreation Department to reserve your spot.
