Prattville Way Off Broadway Theatre Announces Auditions for Pride and Prejudice

Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre is excited to announce auditions for their production of Pride and Prejudice which will be held April 18 through May 5, 2019. Pride and Prejudice, dramatized from Jane Austen’s Novel by Jane Kendall, is presented by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company and directed by Pamela Trammell.

Auditions will be held from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. October 28-29, 2018, at the Way Off Broadway Theatre located at 203 West 4th Street in Prattville. Callbacks, if needed, will be held on October 30. Director Trammell is looking for a cast of 16: five male and 11 female, preteen to adult. Actors should be ready to perform cold readings from the script and should bring a brief resume or bio and head shot if you have them, although they are not required.

This well-loved play is set in England in the early 1800s and steeped with romance and heartbreak, with a cast of deep and delightful characters. Relive memories of this age-old classic with Elizabeth Bennet and her four sisters and, of course, the dark and charming Mr. Darcy.
