4th of July Informational Poster

The City of Prattville will celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day in style with lots of fun patriotic activities for the entire family.

We will kick off the celebration on Sunday, June 30, with a free Patriotic Concert at 7:00 p.m. at Doster Center. The concert will feature the Prattville Pops and the Community Chorus performing a collection of patriotic tunes. This indoor concert is free and open to the public.

Thursday, July 4 th , will be jam-packed with fun family activities, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the Annual 4 th of July Parade. The parade will roll out from the corner of 4 th and Court Streets in front of the Autauga County Courthouse and will travel through downtown Prattville on Main Street ending at Stanley Jensen Stadium by Pratt Park where more fun is in store.

The mouthwatering aroma of barbeque smoking on the grill will waft through Pratt Park as the Prattville Lions Club hosts its Annual Barbeque fundraiser and Patriotic Program. From 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., there will good food, arts and crafts, drawings for some great prizes and live music by Bama Breeze.

Pratt Pool will hold Cardboard Boat Races beginning at 10:30 a.m. with teams creating boats out of cardboard, pool noodles, and duct tape. Bring your family and friends to see if your team can hold it together and win the race!

2019 marks 30 years of Prattville Fireworks and the Grand Finale Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Stanley Jensen Football Stadium beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will be a children’s play area, food vendors, and a free concert with the band Established. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the concert and then at dark get ready for an amazing fireworks display. Enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the state as a variety of patriotic music fills the stadium. The concert and fireworks display are family-friendly, free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome, but no alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed.
