Come out and join us as we celebrate the Grand Opening of the Prattville Farmers Market on Saturday, June 1, at 7:00 a.m. The market will feature fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with local honey, homemade baked goods, fresh eggs, handmade bath and body products, plants and more!

Stacey Little, nationally recognized author of Southern Bitecookbook and food blog, will be cooking up some delicious dishes using fresh produce from the Farmers Market and serving free samples. Come out and experience Southern cooking and learn how to make it home with items from our local growers.

Bama Country Radio will open the market with a live remote and then enjoy live music with Madeline Mae, local singer songwriter.  There will be free Farmers Market bags while supplies last and other special giveaways!

Throughout the season, we will have students from Auburn University’s Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Hospitality Management creating tasty, healthy dishes using items from our growers, with recipes and nutritional information available. There will be live music by local and regional musicians, surprise giveaways, artists painting on site, guest speakers, and more.  You can follow the Prattville Farmers Market Facebook page to find out what will be happening each week.

The Prattville Farmers Market is conveniently located off Doster Road just a few blocks off Main Street. The market is in the Grove across from Gillespie Senior Center and Pratt Park with the Splash Pad, children’s play area, pond, pool and picnic areas which make it a wonderful place for a family outing.
