Prattville Art Guild to Hold Virtual Members' Show

Square Grand Opening

In this time of staying in and social distancing, Prattville Creative and Performing Arts is trying to keep our community connected to the arts through some interesting and creative ways. From instructional videos on creative projects for children and adults to do at home to information and links with performances, conferences, and all types of information about the visual and performing arts, we are working to keep that creative spark alive.

The Prattauga Art Guild will hold its first annual Members’ Show during June and July by virtual exhibit. This online exhibit will open on Sunday, June 7, at 2:00 p.m. and will remain accessible throughout June and July. Awards also will be announced on June 7. You can view the exhibit at or by visiting Prattauga Art Guild on Facebook.

One of the best things about this exhibit is that you can submit your artwork without getting out of your PJ’s! Then you can “go to” the opening of the exhibit in your favorite COVID-19 gear! Plans for the Members’ Show have been in the works for a while, but uncertainty about public gatherings and whether the Creative Arts Center and Gallery would be open, led to the decision to host an online exhibit.

If you’d like more information about the first annual Prattauga Art Guild Members’ Show or about other City of Prattville Cultural Arts programs, contact the Cultural Arts Office at 334-595-0850 or visit

Stay safe and be creative!
