The City of Prattville, Autauga County Commission and the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee is pleased to announce the retention and expansion of Kinedyne LLC in Prattville, Alabama. This competitive project both solidifies jobs currently in Prattville and brings expansion opportunity to the facility currently in use by Kinedyne LLC. The project request involves tax abatements estimated at $90,000 over a ten year period and relocation assistance of $250,000 based on job growth sponsored by both governmental entities as a partnership between the City and County. During 2015-16, Kinedyne will be making additional capital investment in the current facility and increasing employment in the local area to include all levels of a strategic corporate environment.

Company President, James M. Klausmann II said, "Kinedyne broke ground in Prattville, AL in 1986 on a new 16,000 square foot facility enabling the expansion of our manufacturing of high quality synthetic web material for use in Kinedyne's well-known cargo control straps seen all across North America. Nearly 30 years later, after a long and productive relationship in Prattville and a growth in the number and type of items we produce here, we are thrilled to announce that we will further expand and centralize our US manufacturing operations here in Prattville, thereby providing additional jobs for members of the local community as well as growth opportunities for our current employees. We are appreciative of all the support provided to our development project to date by the City of Prattville, County of Autauga and State of Alabama, and we look forward to that continuing support as our expansion project starts and to an ongoing mutually beneficial relationship for many years to come."

Prattville and Autauga County strive to support and grow our existing industry for future economic stability and employment options for local citizens.
