WAY OFF BROADWAY THEATRE

Welcome to the world of live theatre—where stories are shared, creativity is nurtured, and community comes together. At Way Off Broadway Theatre, the stage serves as a gathering place where imagination thrives and the arts strengthen the cultural fabric of Prattville.

Prattville’s Way Off Broadway Theatre is a city-funded cultural entity of the City of Prattville, committed to providing accessible, high-quality theatrical experiences for residents and surrounding communities. Through live productions, youth theatre camps, educational workshops, and community programs, WOBT supports arts education, lifelong learning, and community engagement for all ages.

Our programming spans a wide range of theatrical experiences from respected classics such as To Kill a Mockingbird and A Streetcar Named Desire, to family-friendly favorites like Annie and Elf. Each season is designed to entertain, educate, and bring people together through the shared experience of live performance.

Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience, participants and patrons alike are part of a welcoming, inclusive environment where the arts are celebrated and community connections are strengthened. At Way Off Broadway Theatre, theatre is more than entertainment, it is a public service, a creative outlet, and a cornerstone of Prattville’s cultural life.
