In July 2016, the City of Prattville was issued a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) Permit for its storm water program. As required by the NPDES Permit, the City initiated the development of a Storm Water Management Program Plan (SWMPP). The SWMPP describes the activities performed by the City to help improve the quality of storm water discharged from its storm water system. A final draft of the City’s initial SWMPP is available for review and comment. Written comments will be accepted by the city until March 15, 2017.
Additional information about the city’s storm water management program, the proposed SWMPP, and instructions for commenting on the draft SWMPP are available here.
