RECYCLING CENTER

The Sanitation Department provides residents with convenient and accessible ways to dispose of recyclable materials through the following programs; curbside recycling, recycling dumpsters, and the recycling center. Through these programs and working together we can build a more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

In addition to providing recycling services, the Sanitation Department also offers educational resources and outreach programs to help residents learn more about recycling and how they can make a difference. If your business or organization would like to request the Sanitation Department at an event, please email Tracy to schedule.

RECYCLING PROGRAMS:

Cardboard Recycling

Our Clean City Professionals collect cardboard and non-coated paper items only on yard trash day. Please break down all boxes and set them out on the curb for pickup.

Recycling Center

The Recycling Center is located at the Public Works facility. Anyone can bring cardboard, paper or metal to be recycled. However, only City of Prattville residents who present their sanitation bill may also bring their yard debris, household garbage, and any other recyclable items (view list below) to the Recycling Center.

Requirements concerning the bagging of leaves and grass clippings must be approved.

Recycle Bin Map Locations

The city has 7 available recycling dumpsters throughout the city. All recycling bins are modified to only accept cardboard and paper products.
