The City’s employee health clinic, Premise Health, has a new location in downtown Prattville! On June 24, 2024, Mayor Gillespie joined the Human Resource Department, Premise Health employees, and Reverend Hester for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration. The new clinic is located at 135 Tichnor Avenue and is part of the revitalization project of the old bank building owned by the City of Prattville. A key benefit is it is conveniently located within walking distance for many of our city employees.

The City’s Health and Wellness Center, previously CareHere, opened in January 2011 and has been a unique benefit that our employees have enjoyed. The Center offers annual physicals, preventive exams, chronic condition treatment, annual health screenings, blood draws, vaccinations, same-day appointments, and generic medications, all with no employee co-pay. This new 1055-square-foot space features modern amenities with two patient rooms equipped with the latest technologies, a waiting room, an administrative and doctor’s office, two restrooms, a kitchen, and large murals by local artist, J. Levins.
