February 27, 2026:

Prattville, Ala. — The Prattville Arts Council will host Taste of Prattville, a community-centered evening celebrating the city’s vibrant culinary scene and thriving arts programs, on March 21 at 6 p.m. at the Doster Center. The event will bring together local restaurants, artists and residents for food, creativity and connection while raising support for children’s creative and performing arts education.
Designed as a mix-and-mingle soirée, the event will feature tasting stations provided by Prattville-area restaurants. A silent auction and live musical entertainment will enhance the atmosphere while encouraging conversation and networking.
Proceeds will support children’s creative and performing arts workshops and provide an arts scholarship for a high school student in Prattville who plans to continue their education in the arts.
“Taste of Prattville is a wonderful example of how food, art and community can come together in a meaningful way,” said Kellie Carter, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Prattville. “By supporting local restaurants and investing in arts education, this event strengthens our community today while creating opportunities for the next generation.”
The soirée-style format replaces the Council’s previous Honoree Dinner, offering a more engaging, accessible experience while still ensuring responsible use of grant and city funding. By celebrating local talent and investing in youth, Taste of Prattville reflects Prattville’s continued commitment to creative inspiration and community connection.
Tickets are $50 per person. The Prattville Arts Council is currently accepting silent auction items from businesses and individuals who wish to support the event.
For ticket information, sponsorship opportunities, or to donate a silent auction item, visit Taste of Prattville or call 334-595-0850.
