CALLING ALL ARTISTS: Entries Sought for Prattauga Art Guild Fall Art Show
PRATTVILLE, Ala. — Artists, this show needs your work.
The Prattauga Art Guild is inviting artists to enter the 2026 Fall Art Show, an adjudicated exhibition celebrating artists and original artwork from throughout the area. Whether you are a longtime Art Guild member or an artist who has never exhibited with the Guild before, you are encouraged to enter.
The Fall Art Show offers artists the opportunity to have their work professionally exhibited, viewed by the community, considered by an adjudicator, and eligible for awards including purchase awards, giving participating artists the opportunity to have their work purchased as part of the exhibition.
You do not have to be a Prattauga Art Guild member to participate. Non-members may submit up to three pieces, while Prattauga Art Guild members may submit up to four pieces. Registration fees apply.
Artwork take-in will be held at the following times:
- Friday, September 18: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Saturday, September 19: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Sunday, September 20: 1–4 p.m.
Following judging, the exhibition will be open to the public and will culminate in the Fall Art Show Reception on Sunday, October 4, from 1–3 p.m. The reception gives artists, friends, family members, art lovers, and members of the community an opportunity to gather, view the exhibition, celebrate the participating artists, and recognize this year’s award recipients.
The Prattauga Art Guild especially encourages artists who may be hesitant to enter a judged show for the first time to participate. You don’t have to wait until you feel like an “established artist.” If you create art, we want to see what you create.
“We want artists to know there is a place for their work here,” said Mynecia Steele, Cultural Arts and Special Events Manager. “Whether you’re an established artist or entering a show for the first time, we want to see what you create and celebrate the talent in our community.”
From familiar names to artists exhibiting for the very first time, the Fall Art Show is an opportunity to put your work on the wall, put it in front of an audience, and be part of Prattville’s growing arts community.

The Prattauga Art Guild has been an important part of Prattville’s cultural arts community for decades, providing opportunities for area artists to exhibit their work, develop their skills and connect with fellow artists and the community.
