DESCRIPTION:Update: Due to inclement weather on Friday\, March 1st\, the Newton Park Ribbon Cutting will be rescheduled for Monday\, March 4th. \n  \nJoin the Parks and Recreation Department and Mayor Gillespie\, Jr. for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the first phase of Newton Park on Friday\, March 1\, 2024\, at 4:00 p.m. We’re excited to officially open 5 new tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts. The next phase of construction will focus on remodeling the existing courts and constructing the new skate park.
