At the second City Council meeting each month, our Finance Director delivers a written and verbal recount of the City's financial status. These are the preliminary revenue figures for October (which is actually September's revenue collected in the month of October).
September 2022 Sales Tax Revenue:
With the limited duration sales tax increase:

There was an increase in gross taxes of $409,670.66 or 14.11%.
There was an increase in gross taxes w/o the sales tax increase of $331,506.67 or 14.61%.
There was an increase in net taxes (with the rebates taken out) of $395,027.27 or 14.19%.
There was an increase in net taxes (with the rebates taken out) w/o the sales tax increase of $317,551.70 or 14.68%.
This month the sales tax increase generated an additional $713,064.42. Check amounts listed below will be cut and deposited into the following accounts on 10/7/2022:
- $71,306.44 – General Fund Reserves (10%)
- $160,439.49 – Education Reserves – One Cent (25% of 90%)
- $160,439.49 – Infrastructure Reserves – One Cent (25% of 90%)
- $160,439.49 – Parks & Recreation Reserves – One Cent (25% of 90%)
- $160,439.49 – Public Facilities Reserves – One Cent (25% of 90%)
Lodging Fee Revenue for the month was $49,533.00.
