National Kids to Park Day is Saturday, May 21, and the City of Prattville is gearing up for a great fun-filled day! To kick off the celebration, kids and their families can join Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr., for the annual Mayor’s Bike Ride at Upper Kingston Park and ride to the Touch A TruckKids to Parks Day 2022 Square copy event at Pratt Park.

The bike ride will begin at 9:45 a.m. at Upper Kingston Park for older kids and younger or less experienced riders will join the group by the Prattville Chamber of Commerce and ride to Pratt Park where they can enjoy the annual Touch A Truck event. All riders must wear a helmet to participate.

From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be police cars, firetrucks, ambulances, bucket trucks, dump trucks, and a lot of fun vehicles for children to climb on, climb in, and explore. There will be children’s activities and food vendors, too.
