Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit Comes to Prattville Theatre

Prattville's Way Off Broadway Theatre announces its production of Blithe Spirit, by Noel Coward, which will be presented through special arrangement with Samuel French and directed by Matthew Givens. This fun comedy will open Thursday, September 20, and will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 7.

Blithe Spirit is the story of Charles, a British novelist, who invites the local medium to his home to conduct a séance so he can gather material for his next book. His scheme backfires when the séance succeeds and he is haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira. Only Charles can see Elvira, which makes her efforts to undermine his current marriage all the more hilarious. How Charles manages to resolve this ghostly love triangle makes for one riotous evening.
