The Target Corporation is partnering with several River Region entities to bring the 2013 National Night Out to Prattville.

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It's also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better.

While Target and their partners are the sponsors of NNO in Prattville, this is a community event that will display our resources in the region. This event includes the City of Prattville's Police and Fire Departments, the City of Millbrook's Police and Fire Departments, Autauga County Sheriff's Office, PASS (Peers Are Staying Straight), Alabama Department of Public Safety, Alabama Marine Police, Alabama National Guard, Autauga County Emergency Management Agency, Autauga County Rescue Squad, Prattville Baptist Hospital, National Weather Service, the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, American Red Cross, Autauga County E911, 2-1-1, Central Alabama Sign & Banner, Shoney's, Sweet Frogs, Chick-Fil-A, P'zazz Art Studio, Broadview Media, AirEvac, Crutchfield's Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Gateway Youth Empowerment Outreach, i Crave Fellowship Church, U.S. Air Force Recruiters, TT Portables, Todd Woods with Porta Party DJ, Kool 95.5 Radio, Cumulus Broadcasting/MIX 103.3, WSFA, Gannett Newspapers, and PJ Rentals.

Join us on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Target parking lot in Prattville. There will be free refreshments, demonstrations, fun events and bounce houses for the kids. Invite a neighbor and bring a friend to this regional community awareness event.
