The City of Prattville is pleased to announce that the Grand Marshal for the 2014 Christmas Parade is Harold Hammond of Prattville.

"This position of Grand Marshal is traditionally reserved for VIPs," stated Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr. "Harold Hammond is a VIP in this community. He is a Volunteer. He is Influential, and he is a Patriot of this country. He is a dedicated Partner of Prattville serving through many organizations and I think it is the City of Prattville's privilege and honor to call him our Grand Marshal for this blessed occasion. I hope you will join me in thanking him when you see him during this special event."

Mr. Hammond, an active member of the Lion's Club among other organizations, has set an example for the community through his work policing litter along Highway 14. He volunteers his time and talents to many local organizations and is known and highly respected among the citizens of Prattville.

The 2014 Christmas Parade will be held on Monday evening, December 1, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Autauga County Courthouse. We encourage you to bring out your family and friends and cheer on Mr. Harold Hammond and enjoy this wonderful, family event to celebrate the holiday season.
