The City of Prattville Special Events Office is accepting artist applications for the 2023 Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival which will be held on April 1, 2023. Artists and makers are encouraged to apply. 
The Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival is an annual event held at Pratt Park in Downtown Prattville, Alabama, celebrating the arts and the legacy of Wilson Pickett, a Prattville native. Festivities include an entertainment stage, food vendors, children’s activities, and an artist village, featuring local and regional artists representing a variety of media.
Examples of accepted media include: painting, literary arts, music, traditional art, folk art, sculpture, fiber arts, and more. Monetary awards will be given in each of five categories: two-dimensional, three-dimensional, traditional, people’s choice, and best of show. Application, fees, and all other accompanying materials must be received by February 17, 2023.
Entertainment submissions are also requested. Bands, musicians, and other performers should email a sample of their performance to by February 17, 2023.
