DESCRIPTION:The City of Prattville will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Public Safety Training Facility on May 30\, 2024\, at 10:00 a.m. at 290 Echlin Boulevard\, Prattville\, AL 36067. \n“Investing in Public Safety is vital in having the most prepared and well-trained Police and Fire Department personnel. These men and women take an oath of office to put their lives on the line for our community\, and providing them with the highest quality training resources is critical to ensuring they have the tools to protect and serve\,” said Mayor Bill Gillespie\, Jr. \nThe City of Prattville awarded this $3\,911\,206.00 project to Webb Builders\, Inc. Construction is estimated to take approximately ten months from start to finish. \nPolice Chief Mark Thompson stated\, “This facility will house the Training Units for both Fire and Police.
