DESCRIPTION:Title: 025-010 – FY2025 LOCAL STREET PAVING – PHASE II \nDeadline: 8/7/2025 10:00 AM   (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) \nStatus: Open \nSolicitation Number: 025-010 \nDescription: Sealed bids for FY2025 LOCAL STREET PAVING – PHASE II – Bid No.: 025-010 will be received by the City of Prattville in the HR Conference Room at City Hall\, 101 West Main Street\, Prattville\, AL 36067\, until 10:00 am\, Thursday\, August 7\, 2025\, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. \nThe bracket estimate on this project is from $750\,000.00 to $775\,000.00. This bracket range is shown only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This bracket should not be used in preparing a bid\, nor will this bracket have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. \nThe principal items of work are approximate as follows: \n4\,450 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Paving\, 22\,200 Square Yards of Asphalt Milling\, and related items. \nThe entire project shall be completed in 60 calendar days. \nTo be eligible for consideration\, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the owner. A Digital Copy of the Bid documents (including specifications and proposals) are available through the City of Prattville Engineering Department by emailing paxton.reiss@prattvilleal.gov. Bidders shall be responsible for all printing of physical copies of the bid documents. No bid documents will be distributed later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. \nA certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville\, Alabama\, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid\, but in no event more than $10\,000.00\, must accompany each of the bidder’s separate sealed proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to them. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived). \nEach bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama\, 1975\, as amended\, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license. \nThe City of Prattville is an equal opportunity employer.
