DESCRIPTION:Title: 024-011 Tara Drive @ McQueen Smith Road Traffic Signal \nDeadline: 8/2/2024 10:30 AM   (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) \nStatus: Open \nSolicitation Number: 024-011 \nDescription: Sealed bids for Tara Drive @ McQueen Smith Road Traffic Signal – Bid No.: 024-011 will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall\, 101 West Main Street\, Prattville\, AL 36067\, until 10:30 a.m. on Friday\, August 2\, 2024\, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. \nThe principal items of work are approximate as follows: \nAll labor\, materials\, equipment\, and services necessary and incidental to the installation of the traffic signal equipment as shown on the design plans. \nAll materials and equipment\, as well as the installation\, shall comply with the most recent edition of the Alabama Department of Transportation “Standard Specifications for Highway Construction”\, the most recent edition of the Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Drawings\, the City of Prattville standards and requirements\, the accompanying plans\, and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)\, 2009 Edition. \nPlan Designs can be obtained from Sain Associates\, Inc.\, by contacting Jeremy Greer jgreer@sain.com. No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. Bids should be lump sum price for the total of all items of work contained in the plans and specifications. \nThe project shall be completed in 200 calendar days from the time the selected bidder is issued the Notice to Proceed. \nGuarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10\,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid\, security in the amount\, form\, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond.
