DESCRIPTION:Title: 025-006 – FY 2025 LOCAL STREET PAVING \nDeadline: 4/16/2025 10:00 AM   (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) \nStatus: Open \nSolicitation Number: 025-006 \nDescription: Sealed bids for FY 2025 LOCAL STREET PAVING – Bid No.: 025-006 will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Prattville in the HR Conference Room at City Hall\, 101 W\, Main Street\, until 10:00 AM CST\, Wednesday\, April 16\, 2025\, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. \nThe bracket estimate on this project is from $1\,200\,000.00 to $1\,350\,000.00. This bracket range is shown only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This bracket should not be used in preparing a bid\, nor will this bracket have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. \nThe principal items of work are approximate as follows: \n8\,250 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Paving\, 69\,000 Square Yards of Asphalt Milling\, and related items. \nThe entire project shall be completed in seventy-five (75) calendar days. \nTo be eligible for consideration\, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the owner. A Digital Copy of the Bid documents (including specifications and proposals) are available through the City of Prattville Engineering Department by emailing paxton.reiss@prattvilleal.gov. Bidders shall be responsible for all printing of physical copies of the bid documents. No bid documents will be distributed later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. \nA certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville\, Alabama in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid\, but in no event more than $10\,000.00 must accompany each of the bidder’s separate sealed proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to him. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived). \nEach bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama\, 1975\, as amended\, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license. \nThe City of Prattville is an equal-opportunity employer. Bid Opening Date: Monday\, April 28\, 2025\, Time: 2:00 P.M. City Hall\, HR Conference Room\,101 West Main Street Prattville\, AL 36067\n\nFountain and Prepackaged Beverage Rights Program at Stanley Jensen Stadium – The purpose of the specifications is to obtain services of a vendor to provide a Beverage Rights Program at Stanley Jenson Stadium for the City of Prattville Parks and Recreation Department\, in accordance with such policies promulgated by the City of Prattville\, rules and regulations of the City. This contract will award the exclusive rights for fountain and prepackaged beverages at Stanley Jensen Stadium only. \n\nThe City\, by and through the Prattville Parks and Recreation Department (“Department”)\, shall provide water and electrical connections necessary for the operation of the dispensing equipment at no cost to the Vendor. The Department does not guarantee an uninterrupted supply of water and electricity. However\, the Department shall be diligent in restoring service following an interruption. The City/Department shall not be liable for any product loss or additional costs from the interruption or failure of any such utility service.
