DESCRIPTION:11/25/24: The bid opening date has been changed per Addendum 1 to 12.10.2024\, at 2:00 p.m. \nTitle: 024-016 – Newton Park Tennis Complex Improvements – Phase 2 \nDeadline: 12/5/2024 9:00 AM (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) \nStatus: Open \nSolicitation Number: 024-016 \nDescription: Sealed bids for the Newton Park Tennis Complex Improvements – Phase 2 will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall\, 101 West Main Street\, Prattville\, AL 36067 until 9:00 A.M.\, CST\, on Thursday\, December 5\, 2024\, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at said location. \nThe project is estimated to cost $985\,000.00. The amount shown is only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This amount should not be used in preparing a bid\, nor will it have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. The work of constructing the project will be let under one contract. \nA MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for this Project is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. CST\, on Thursday\, November 14\, 2024\, at City Hall Council Chambers 101 West Main Street Prattville\, AL 36067. \nThe principal items of work are approximate as follows: 5 new tennis courts\, site grading\, storm sewer\, grassing\, and clean up. \nThe entire project shall be completed in 120 calendar days. Bid documents (plans\, specifications\, proposal forms\, and other contract documents) may be examined at the office of Engineers of the South\, 208 Oak Mountain Circle\, Pelham\, AL 35124 (205) 327-9140. Complete digital project bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com for a fee of $100.00; Quest project #9389731. General Contractors who bid must obtain documents from QuestCDN. \nProposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond\, a cashier’s check\, or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price or $10\,000.00 payable without recourse to the City of Prattville\, Alabama. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to them. The successful bidder shall furnish performance and payment bonds upon the forms provided for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
