DESCRIPTION:Title: 024-013 Doster Well Area Improvements\n\nUpdate 11/5/24: This bid has been canceled by Addendum 4.\nUpdate 9/30: Rescheduled to Thursday\, December 5\, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. \nDeadline: 10/3/2024 10:00 AM   (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) \nStatus: Open \nSolicitation Number: 024-013 \nDescription: Sealed bids for the Doster Well Area Improvements – Bid No.: 024-013 will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall\, 101 West Main Street\, Prattville\, AL 36067\, until 10:00 a.m. CST on Thursday\, October 3\, 2024\, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location.\nThe project is estimated to cost $400\,000.00. The amount shown is only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This amount should not be used in preparing a bid\, nor will it have any bearing on the decision to award the contract. The work of constructing the project will be let under one contract.  The principal items of work are approximate as follows: 420 Tons of Bituminous Concrete Paving\, 750 SY of 4” Thick Concrete Sidewalk\, 1\,000 LF of Concrete Curb and Gutter\, Various Drainage Improvements.\nTo be eligible for consideration\, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals forms made available by the Engineer. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Quest Construction Data Network at www.questcdn.com utilizing the Reference Quest Number 9307501 for a fee of $22.00. Drawings and specifications may be examined at Krebs Engineering\, Inc. 312 Catoma Street\, Suite 100\, Montgomery\, AL 36104. For the duration of the advertisement period\, a list of plan holders may be found at www.krebseng.com or www.questcdn.com. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10\,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid\, security in the amount\, form\, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
