Mission Statement
The mission of the Planning Department is to manage changes to Prattville's physical and natural environments through the wise use of land, resources, and codes to ensure a high quality of life for present and future generations.

Under the guidance of the Mayor, City Council and Planning Commission, the Planning and Development Department is responsible for managing the physical development of the city. Through the enforcement of city codes, the department enhances the beauty of the community and protects the health and safety of its citizens.

Legal Advertisements Updates: Effective February 2022: 

The Montgomery Advertiser has advised that they will no longer be printing the Saturday edition. There is no price difference on the days that legal advertisements are run. Therefore, the City will start posting our legal advertisements in the Sunday editions of the paper starting with the next advertisement scheduled for Sunday, February 6th.
