February 11, 2013

The Doppler 12 StormVision team is taking the weather out of the studio and bringing it to our hometown. Chief Meteorologist Rich Thomas, Meteorologist Josh Johnson, and Meteorologist Monica Tassoni will be in Prattville City Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. on February 13, 2013 for a "Weather on the Road" event. The team will conduct an informative demonstration about the different weather features the River Region presents and the unique challenges they pose when trying to accurately forecast weather.

Along with the presentation, the team will be on hand to answer any questions residents may have and to meet the viewers that the Doppler 12 StormVision team strives to protect each day. Also, representatives from Walgreen's will be set up with NOAA Midland Weather Radios for sale. The Doppler 12 StormVision team will program any weather radios brought in or purchased at the event to make sure they accurately alert for any warnings for Elmore, Autauga, and the surrounding counties.

Our Autauga EMA team will also be present during the event to answer questions and meet residents. Please join us for the Doppler 12 StormVision team's "Weather on the Road" event.
