The City of Prattville and the Way Off Broadway Theatre, located in historic downtown Prattville, are proud to announce their upcoming play, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare”, opening Thursday, September 15th and running through October 2nd.

This hilarious parody features all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays like you have never seen them before. In less than two short hours, three actors try to capture the magic, the genius, and the towering grandeur of Shakespeare’s plays using entertaining and unorthodox methods. Whether it’s the Othello Rap or the histories being performed as a football game, the action never stops and neither does the laughter. Come and enjoy Shakespeare like you’ve never seen it before!

“Imagine William Shakespeare performed by Monty Python,” says Matthew Givens, director of the play. “This is, without a doubt, the funniest play that Shakespeare never wrote.”

Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Arts Center, or by phone at 334.358.0297. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. To learn more about “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare”, visit the Way Off Broadway Theatre page on this site.
