Our Annual "Saturday Walking Tours", sponsored by the Alabama Travel & Tourism Department, begin Saturday, April 5 at 10:00. The Autauga County Heritage Association has long been a partner with Alabama Tourism in putting on these walking tours in our great city. ACHA is highly invested in preserving and educating our residents and visitors on the rich history in Autauga County.

Prattville has three different tours that will be given. The first one will be Old PrattVillage and Autauga Creek on April 5. The second one will be Main Street Commercial District on April 12. The third one will be through part of the historic residential area on April 19. The final one on April 26 will cover the Commercial District again. All tours begin at 10:00 at the Prattaugan Museum and Visitor Center located on the corner of Main and Chestnut, across the street from City Hall and last about an hour and a half. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a walk through the Historic District and learn some things about Prattville and some of her citizens that you may not know.
