Road Work on US Hwy 82 & Jensen Rd to Begin Friday

PRATTVILLE, Ala.- Beginning Friday, March 10, 2017, Alabama Department of Transportation will begin a resurfacing project at U.S. Highway 82 and Jensen Road.

The entrance lanes onto Jensen Road from U.S. Highway 82 will be closed. No traffic will be allowed to enter Jensen Road from U.S. Highway 82. All traffic will need to utilize the Alabama Highway 14 detour.

Traffic will be permitted to exit Jensen Road onto U.S. Highway 82 eastbound only. U.S. Highway 82 westbound traffic will need to utilize the detour from County Road 4 onto Alabama Highway 14.

The project should be completed in 10 days. Message boards will be placed on U.S. Highway 82 and Alabama Highway 14. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling through a construction zone and expect delays.
