The City of Prattville is proud to be a host for the Americans for the Arts workshop: Artists at the Community Development Table.  This workshop will include participants from throughout the River Region and will look at arts based community development and how local and regional artists, arts administrators and organizations can help to build our communities.

The workshop will include case studies, creative group exercises, and highlight the work of artists in our community already engaging in this work. Featured local artists are Montgomery artist, DaNeal Eberly, and internationally recognized artist, Charlie “Tin Man” Lucas, who play a big part in advancing the arts in the River Region.

This important workshop will be held at the Sanctuary in Montgomery on Monday, March 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The workshop is free to attend, but reservations are required.

For more information or to register for the workshop, visit Americans for the Arts website at www.americanforthearts.org/acdt or contact the Cultural Arts Office for the City of Prattville at 334-595-0851.
