The 9th Annual Fountain City Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Pratt Park in Downtown Prattville, Alabama.

This fine arts festival will feature an Artist Village with more than 50 artists and crafters, a Children's Creative Canopy, as well as food and entertainment for all. Charlie "Tin Man" Lucas and She She will be featured in the Creative Canopy with hands-on projects for children. Russell Everett will return to paint live with local celebrities and other festival visitors. Artist Joyce Bamman will paint with children on projects to be exhibited in venues throughout Prattville and she will be joined by others from the Prattauga Art Guild.

A new addition to the festival this year is the Writer's Corner in the Pavilion, featuring local authors Sara Dubose, Melissa Sharman, and Del Witherspoon, and the Alabama Writer's Forum will be on hand to talk about local authors and their programs.

On the entertainment stage, we have a special treat this year with a performance by singer/song writer Julie Gribble. Ms. Gribble has performed on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and on the Tyra Banks Show and had a supporting role in the movie Quarantine 2. She is back on the East Coast now concentrating on her music and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We also have Prattville singer/song writer, Stephen Bray playing his original music. Returning to the stage will be the Prattville Pops, Community Chorus and the Way Off Broadway Theatre, as well.
