The Prattauga Art Guild will hold Raptor Reflections, an event featuring birds of prey on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This event will feature live raptors and will be held in the beautiful art garden adjacent to the Prattville Creative Arts Center on Chestnut Street along the Autauga Creek Walk.

This event will feature the Upstate Birds of Prey organization from Tallassee, Tennessee, which not only rehabilitates injured birds, but also teaches about the birds and rehabilitation. The organization treats birds from Alabama as well as Tennessee. There will be educational talks, demonstrations, and information about birds of prey.

Also featured at this event will be the Alabama Wildlife Federation with information about the Alabama Nature Center, its programs and beautiful walking trails, as well as conservation stewardship information. The Montgomery Zoo will be on hand with information about the wonderful raptor exhibits and some fine feathered friends.

There will be an art exhibition and competition in the Creative Arts Center Gallery with artwork by local and regional artist members of the Prattauga Art Guild depicting birds and nature. There will be a silent auction and lots of art and educational activities.

This fun and educational event will be held in the garden just above the Autauga Creek Canoe Trail and is the perfect way to spend a Saturday with your family.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Special Events Office for the City of Prattville at 334/595-0851.
