Mardi Gras Rolls into Downtown Prattville

The City of Prattville’s seventh annual Mardi Gras Parade is scheduled for Saturday, February 19th. The parade themed “Let the Good Times Rock and Roll” will roll out from the Autauga County Courthouse at 3:00 p.m. and wind its way through the streets of downtown, with plenty of beads, candy, and moonpies for everyone.

Mayor Bill Gillespie will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal. Local vendors will be selling beverages and food, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Partners in Pediatrics parking lot, located next to Bank Trust in downtown Prattville. A children’s fun area will be set up as well.
