The City of Prattville is excited to host a free Halloween-themed Movie Under the Stars on Saturday, October 27th and the annual downtown Candywalk event on Tuesday, October 30th.

The Halloween themed Movie Under the Stars will be held at the Pratt Park Amphitheatre (next to Stanley Jensen Stadium) on Saturday, October 27th. "Monster House" will be shown on a huge inflatable movie screen and will begin at dark. Admission is free to the public. "Monster House" is a family-friendly animation about three kids who discover that the house across the street is alive. They try to convince the babysitter, the police, and some weirdo named Skull. To unravel the mystery of the house, they have to go inside. Coolers and food welcome, but please no alcoholic beverages.

On Tuesday, October 30th, the City of Prattville, and the merchants and business owners of Prattville Downtown Unlimited (PDU) will once again help children celebrate an afternoon of trick-or-treating. Toddlers through second-graders can trick-or-treat from 4-6 p.m.; the walk begins at Prattville City Hall. All children who are participating in the event are asked to bring a non-perishable canned food to be donated to Autauga Interfaith Care Center (AICC).
