May 2, 2017

The Prattville/Autauga Farmers Market will open on Saturday, May 20, at 7:00 a.m. and will feature fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs, along with honey, baked goods, handmade soaps, and other specialty items. Throughout the season, we will have guest chefs to create tasty dishes with items from our growers, live music by local and regional musicians, surprise giveaways, artists painting on site, guest speakers, children’s projects and more. You can follow the Prattville Farmers Market Facebook page to find out what will be happening each week.

We are still taking applications for growers and other vendors. You can get an application on the Farmers' Market page on this website or by contacting the Special Events office.

We also will welcome local and regional cooks and musicians that would like to share their talents with the visitors and vendors at the market. If you are interested in either cooking or performing at the market, please contact Farmers' Market Manager Barbara Simpson at or 334-595-0851.

The Prattville Farmers Market is conveniently located off Doster Road just a few blocks off Main Street. Its close proximity to Pratt Park with the Splash Pad, children’s play area, tree-lined walk ways, pond, pool and picnic areas make it a wonderful place for a family outing. Enjoy the park and picnic with fresh produce. Lots of fun events will take place at the market throughout the season.

The Farmers Market will be held every Saturday from May 20 through September 16, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. until 12 noon. For more information about the Prattville Farmers Market, contact the Special Events office at 334/595-0854.
