The City of Prattville is excited to announce the next act for this summer's Creekwalk Concert Series...the Blackbird Pickers! The Blackbird Pickers call Prattville their home. They tout themselves as a little bit country and a little bit...well, you know the rest. They live on the edge of mainstream with a heavy bluegrass influence and a lot of heart and soul.

We're also thrilled to share that Prattville's historic fountain in Heritage Park is going to be taken away between July 9th and 11th, and returned to Robinson's for a complete refurbishing.

"We're eager to send it off knowing that it'll be returned to us in about 6 weeks as good as new," stated Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr. "We've got a little celebration planned in conjunction with the concert and hope that everyone will come on down to join in the festivities!"

Our downtown eateries and shops will be open late so please come shop, eat, pickup dinner and join us for an evening on the Creekwalk and in Creekwalk Garden.

These events are free to the public thanks to our sponsors: City of Prattville, Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, Lek Technology Group, Jackson Thornton, Kinnucan's, Kim Box Photography, Riverside Church, Gillespie Tire & Automotive Service, and Prattville Downtown Unlimited.

Remaining concerts in the series will be held on July 22nd, August 12th, and August 26th. Each concert will be a little different and we will have other vendors and attractions on site at future concerts. We'll be releasing information on the other concert dates/bands just prior to each one so that we can promote each of them fully and properly.
