The Prattville Autauga Farmers Market will soon have a Tuesday afternoon market. This additional market day will be held in the parking lot of Dollar Tree and the old Office Depot location at 1922 Cobbs Ford Road. The market will begin Tuesday, June 17, and will be open from 3-6 pm.

This is the season for fresh home-grown produce and local growers will bring their fruits, vegetables, honey and more to this additional market day in Prattville. "The crops continue to produce all the time so this additional day provides the farmers with a place to sell their produce during the week. It also gives the consumer a place to buy what they need if they miss the Saturday market," said Barbara Simpson, Market Manager and Coordinator of Special Events for the City of Prattville.

The Farmers Market will be held every Tuesday and Saturday through September 27. On Saturdays visit the market on Doster Road in the grove across from the Gillespie Senior Center from 7:00am until 12 noon.
