Mayor Jim Byard, Jr., the City of Prattville, and the merchants and business owners of Prattville Downtown Unlimited (PDU) will once again help children celebrate an afternoon of trick-or-treating, on Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Toddlers through second-graders can trick-or-treat from 4-5 p.m.; the walk begins at Prattville City Hall. All children who are participating in the event are asked to bring a non-perishable canned food to be donated to Autauga Interfaith Care Center (AICC).

“Once again, the City of Prattville is pleased to join Prattville Downtown Unlimited in hosting our Annual Candy Walk”, said Mayor Jim Byard, Jr. “I look forward to welcoming the ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and other costumed trick-or-treaters that make their annual trek to City Hall during this year’s Candy Walk. This is a safe, free Halloween tradition that children and parents enjoy. I invite you to join us for this popular Prattville tradition,” continued the Mayor.
