Storm Water Management Program Plan

Tomorrow is the deadline for submitting public comments on our draft Storm Water Management Program Plan. You may or may not know, but this is an unfunded mandate that is being required of us by ADEM by issuance of an MS4 permit. This draft plan will be submitted to ADEM by month's end in compliance of their requirements. If you have comments, please do not hesitate to get them into us by close of business tomorrow. Time Investment in Greenhouse Production Reaps Rewards

City Officials Break Ground on Mac Gray Park Capital Project

Mayor Gillespie and members of the City Council joined Parks & Rec staff for a groundbreaking at Mac Gray Park on Friday, March 10th. Demolition had been accomplished earlier in the week and now renovations can begin.

In the last 6 years, the City of Prattville has decreased its overall debt by $26,795,656.62 or 41.1%.

City Hosts Wastewater Training


On Wednesday, the City of Prattville hosted a class for continuing education hours for our Wastewater Division personnel.  This class is presented by Alabama's Water Environment Association (AWEA) was sponsored by Engineers of the South and Jim House & Associates.
 


PGSL Makes Donation to Newton Park Upgrades!

The City of Prattville Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to accept a donation from the Prattville Girls Softball League. This money will be used to remodel the restrooms at Newton Park.
February 2017 Revenue

This month, the sales tax increase generated an additional $435,792.17. Thus far, the sales tax increase has generated an additional $33,469,425.63 and in that same time period, the City of Prattville has paid $33,869,420.22 toward our debt service.

Facilities Maintenance Provides Amazing View with New Deck


Due to the age and decline of the existing observation deck/area on the upper deck of Cooter's Pond Park, the decision was made to build a new one instead of just making repairs to the existing structure.
